Patent Attorney and Trademark Attorney: With 13 years intellectual property experience, Alex is the principal patent and trade marks attorney and founded the firm in 2006. Alex has Honours in Life Sciences from Adelaide University and has significant expertise in molecular biology, immunology and infectious diseases.

Alex enjoys the practical and commercial business aspects of intellectual property and in 2002, worked for a commercialisation company, Adelaide Research and Innovation (ARI). Alex regularly trains and provides seminars to CEO and business owners, on how to effectively manage their intellectual property.

Alex was top of his class when completing a Business Management Certificate IV in 2006.

On the side, Alex enjoys tennis, the outdoors and travelling.

Catherine Hustwick B Sc (Chem), LLB (Hons):

Patent Attorney and Trademark Attorney: Cathy is an Australian patent and trade marks attorney with 23 years experience and prior to this worked as a Patent Examiner at the New Zealand Patent Office.

Cathy applies extensive patent and trademark experience to ensure clients’ interests are managed effectively, professionally and with accurate detail. In particular, she has extensive knowledge and experience in oppositions, infringement matters, dispute resolution, chemical patents and pharmaceutical patents.
